I love making regular lemonade something special. I’ve done mint and lavender lemonade before, but never strawberry. Since I had a ton of strawberries picked from Grandma’s garden, I thought I’d give it a try. This turned out wonderfully and better than I’ve had at any restaurant.

Ingredients
2 cups of strawberries, stems cut off
2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice (this makes all the difference!)
3/4 cup sugar (if your strawberries aren’t very sweet, add extra to taste)
3 1/2 cups water (more to taste)
Ice

Directions
1. Place the strawberries and lemon juice in a blender. Pulse until there are only small bits of strawberry throughout. Pour into a pitcher.
2. Add the sugar and water to the blender. Pulse for about 15 seconds until the sugar dissolves. I do this to make cleanup on the blender a little easier and also because I like the strawberry a bit chunky; if you blend everything at once the strawberries will be very pureed. Pour into pitcher.
3. Taste. Add more sugar or water to taste. Serve over lots of ice.
